SMARTer outcomes

Really SMARTen your outcomes

When you start a project, do you really think what it is you're aiming to achieve?

Try this exercise:

Think of a project and create well formed outcomes

SMART
SPECIFIC
MEASURABLE
ACHIEVABLE
REALISTIC
TIMED

The NLP criteria for SMARTening targets:

1 Is the goal stated in the positive?

The unconscious does not recognise a negative as a goal to work towards!

2 Is it self-initiated, maintained, and within my control?

Am I doing it for myself or someone else?  Does the outcome rely solely on me?
